about the author & organisation
The Climate Fresk was created by Cédric Ringenbach, a French environmental engineer, lecturer, consultant, and former director of The Shift Project, a think tank focused on the energy transition. In 2018, he developed the Climate Fresk as a powerful tool to make climate science accessible and actionable, based on IPCC reports.
What started as a simple educational method has since grown into Climate Fresk, a global nonprofit dedicated to deploying the workshop, which to date has been played by more than 2 million people in more than 160 countries. The organisation empowers individuals, businesses, and institutions to understand and address climate challenges through collaborative learning. Today, Climate Fresk operates worldwide, fostering awareness and inspiring meaningful action for a sustainable future.
